I’d like to thank LME Investments for doing eveiything in their power to help me with my problem. Before working with LME, I didn’t know any of my options or how the foreclosure process worked in Wisconsin. They explained the entire process to me, including how to deal with my divorce and my recently discharged bankruptcy. LME also helped me by dealing with the lender and provided me with weekly updates which allowed me to relax and spend more quality time with my kids. They brought in a Realtor and coordinated the listing of my property, worked on pricing, consulted with the lender, and helped with my FHA loan so I could see if I qualified for a short sale. I want to take this opportunity to thank David Dinkel and Michael Batz, of LME Investments, forall their hard work in my behalf. About one year ago, I was unable to make a mortgage payment. This was the first time in over 30 years that I was even late. I immediately called my mortgage company and learned that they did not take partial payments. I was shocked to learn this. I. then, made arrangements with my brother to help me get caught up with my payment; and that fell through when he stopped payment on the check he sent. I went back to the bank and told them what happened and requested that several months be added to the end of the mortgage so that I could recover and move forward. They refused. At Christmas I received a letter of foreclosure. Meanwhile, I had placed my home on the market at a fair price. My agent had the listing for six months and only eight people saw the house. All were very interested. They all thought the price should be lower. I had one non-offer for $100,000 less than I was asking. Already the market was in a downward spiral and I found that I owed more than the house was now worth. I was working with a financial manager during this time to see what I could do to streamline my expenses. Except for Social Security and a few extra earned dollars, I found that I was already in a recession. My advisor suggested a short sale to avoid foreclosure.
I went online to learn about short sales. I asked my realtor about them and he did not know anything about them. I contacted several companies online and was told that I must first send $1,000 and they would then help me. I did not have that kind of money, so I did not pursue this avenue. Meanwhile, the newspaper announced my foreclosure. I found another place to live that was more affordable. And, I began preparing to move.
During this time, I received all kinds of flyers and postcards from various realtors and others offering to sell my home. Sometimes people arrived at the door to give me their card because they wanted to buy my home. I was very confused until I received a letter in the mail from LME Investments, LLC. Their information was straight-forward and directed me to their website, where I learned more. I thought this was an unusual approach, compared to the other material I had received. I made an appointment with David Dinkel. When we met, I felt this was the right person to help me. He had already been through what I was about to endure. He was not looking for money up front. In fact, neither he nor his partner ever asked for one dime. They encouraged me to continue looking forward to the new place and not worry about a thing. They assured me that they would take care of everything. And, so they did.
As a widow, I was unable to keep up with the repairs and yardwork on my home. LME Investments saw to it that my yard was neat and minor repairs were made. I paid for none of this. They lifted and personally moved some of my stuff and arranged for a mover to handle the rest. They said they would do whatever it takes to help me and they meant it.
Meanwhile, every Friday, I received a call from Michael Batz updating me on the progress, if any that had occurred that week. They arranged my paperwork and moved it forward to the lender. They tried to deal with an unreasonable institution who was uncooperative, at best. As the foreclosure date drew near, they were able to reschedule and move back the auction date. Finally, two days before my home was to be foreclosed upon, we had a buyer and the bank approved the buyer, The sale was negotiated and I avoided foreclosure.
My health during this time was not very good. I am a diabetic and found it difficult to control the stress, which added to my problem. Once I moved, I found that I was able to sleep through the night for the first time since my husband died more than eight years ago. Since I did not have to worry about my house any longer, I felt an enormous weight lifted from my shoulders. I not only slept better, I found that my blood-sugar levels were lower and almost back to normal. Since I could concentrate on my new home, I no longer seemed depressed. I really could look forward with renewed interest in life.
Michael's weekly calls and David's reassurance meant everything to me. They were so positive that it was contagious! All this may sound too dramatic, but when I look back, I wonder how I would have survived the turmoil with anyone else. LME Investments is a company of great integrity. I highly recommend their work and each of them, personally. And, I ask that I may be placed on your list of very satisfied clients. Thank-you.

I guess you first need to know that I was in a very depressed-denial state when I first began talking with Dave Dinkel from LME. My house was in foreclosure and I felt like a failure. Out of all the foreclosure mailers that my wife and I received, LME Investments was the only one that mentioned working with people verses just working on the house. Along with being located locally, they won us over by wanting to meet with us in person to discuss our situation. I had serious doubts about my lender working with anyone because of the difficulties I was having with my lender.
Once my wife and I signed with LME Investments, we felt a sense of relief because we no longer had to worry about working directly with the lender. LME kept us relaxed by providing us with weekly updates.
